Way Kenneth L. Way has been Chairman of Lear Corporation since 1988 and has been affiliated with Lear and its predecessor companies for 35 years in engineering, manufacturing and general management capacities. A native of Detroit, Way graduated from Cooley High School before enrolling at Michigan State University (MSU) where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1961. He subsequently received a Master in Business Administration degree from MSU's Advanced Management Program in 1971. He received an Honorary Doctor of Engineering degree from Lawrence Technological University in 1995 and the Sigma Chi fraternity "Significant Sig" award in 1997. In 1998, he received the "Distinguished Alumni Award" from MSU. Way joined the Boeing Company in 1961 in Seattle and then served four years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He joined American Metal Products in 1966 as an industrial engineer just before Lear Siegler, Inc. bought the company. He subsequently held a number of engineering, manufacturing and general management positions and in 1984 was appointed vice president of Lear Siegler's Automotive Group. He was named Chief Executive Officer of Lear in 1988. Robert E. Rossiter Robert E. Rossiter was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Lear Corporation on October 1, 2000. Rossiter is responsible for the strategic direction and operational leadership of the corporation. He is also a member of the board of directors and has served in that role since 1988. To support his corporate philosophy of "customer is everything," Rossiter champions Lear's Six Sigma initiative. His objective is to ensure that the company eliminates all forms of waste to continually raise the bar on customer satisfaction levels, and grows its position as a world-leading supplier of complete automotive and electronics interior systems. Most recently, Rossiter was Lear's President and Chief Operating Officer, a position he had held since 1988. DelGrosso is Executive Vice President -- International Operations, with responsibility for Europe, Asia and Africa, a position he has held since September 2001. Prior to his current appointment, DelGrosso was Senior Vice President -- Product and Customer Focus Groups, overseeing Lear's operations in Europe, Mexico, South America and Asia Pacific, including Lear's North American Joint Ventures, Industrial Engineering, Seating Systems, Interior Systems and the Lear Electronics and Electrical Division. DelGrosso began his career with Lear in 1984 as a design engineer and advanced to positions of increasing responsibility in various Operations leadership roles. He was appointed a senior vice president of the company in July 1998, and President of the Interior Systems Group & Seat Trim Division in January 1999. Rodolfo Kroebel Rodolfo Kroebel is President -- Electronics and Technology, Lear Electronics and Electrical Division (LEED) and is based at the company's LEED headquarters in Dearborn, Mich. Kroebel focuses Lear's electrical and electronics business, including Intertronics(TM), Lear's unique ability to integrate electronics products and electrical distribution systems into vehicle interior systems. Kroebel joined Lear in May 1999 as a result of Lear's acquisition of United Technologies Automotive (UTA). While at UTA, he held a number of positions dating back to 1990, and has spent more than 25 years in various capacities in the automotive industry, including positions with Plastic Dies and Tuta Products in South Africa.
