IAPA Selects Wrenchead Pro Systems for Software Solution

Leading Program Distribution Group Will Use Wrenchead, Inc.'s
                  E-Commerce and Shop Management Technology

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., May 9 Wrenchead, Inc., a leading
developer of catalog data management, business software solutions and
e-commerce technology for the automotive aftermarket, today announced that it
has been awarded the contract to provide the Automotive Service Professional
(ASP) Point of Sale (POS) management solution software to the Independent Auto
Parts of America program distribution group (IAPA).
IAPA based its decision to select Wrenchead after significant research of
available aftermarket e-commerce technology. "It was clear to us, that
Wrenchead's use of proprietary technology to deliver the parts catalog,
integrated labor guide and electronic ordering to our service dealers in a
fully integrated environment made the most sense for IAPA's future direction,"
said Mike Kamal -- Executive Director of IAPA.
Kamal also noted, "IAPA is committed to providing strong marketing support
for our jobber and service dealer customers. This support is delivered
through our Automotive Service Professional (ASP) Program." The ASP program
currently supports service dealers with a complete package of POS, marketing
support tools, technical support and training, as well as software to help the
repair facility owners operate more profitably.
IAPA plans to promote the use of the ASP P.O.S. Technology/Software as a
way of creating a stronger link between our jobbers and their most valued
service dealer customers. "Helping our service dealers use new technology
designed to not only track business operations but access data, cataloging,
labor, technical information and making each job they perform more efficient
via the internet -- clearly demonstrates our commitment to their future
success." Said Kamal.
