NEW YORK, March 12 The arrival of Isuzu's new 2002 SUV,
the Axiom, coincides with the premiere of USA Network's new five-part
adventure race series. "Eco-Challenge: Borneo, Presented by Isuzu" premieres
Sunday, April 1 on USA Network.
Synergistically extending the Eco-Challenge brand, Isuzu and USA Network
have custom-designed eight Axioms for Eco-Challenge(R). These colorful
vehicles are hitting the streets of New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Denver
through April 4th to promote awareness for the premiere of Eco-Challenge on
USA Network and the Axiom.
Eight vehicles (three each in New York, Los Angeles; one in Chicago,
Denver) will make appearances at high-profile destinations in each city,
targeting popular lunchtime spots, beaches, parks and special-event locations.
USA Network worked closely with sister company Citysearch.com to select
high-traffic areas for the driving route. The public can get a sneak peak at
the Axiom, as well as win authentic Eco-Challenge adventure gear such as
backpacks, watches, t-shirts, hats and key chains.
Isuzu is a major sponsor of "Eco-Challenge: Borneo, presented by Isuzu,"
