Top Secret `Area 51' for Exhibitors to Debut at SAE 2001 World Congress

WARRENDALE, Pa., Feb. 6 Hush-hush projects of the
automotive industry, the proprietary and top-secret new equipment that won't
be seen by the general public for years, will be shown to special invitees at
the SAE 2001 World Congress at Cobo Center, Detroit, Michigan, March 5 - 8.

SAE is setting up four Technology Preview Salons for exhibitors who have
new technology but want to restrict viewing to special prospects. The rooms
will be on the show floor at booths 2151, 2157, 2450 and 2456 in Macomb Hall.

Known informally as "Area 51" for the high sensitivity of the products
displayed and for its restricted access, the four Technology Preview Salons
are 20 x 30 feet each, with high walls surrounding the complex on all sides.

The list of participating companies willing to authorize visitors access
to their booth will be available at all Information Booths at the SAE World
Congress. Anyone not receiving an invitation, yet interested in attending
these exclusive product/technology previews, should inquire at any Information
Booth.

The SAE 2001 World Congress, the world's premier automotive technology and
supplier trade show, attracts approximately 50,000 engineers, decision makers,
corporate officials, and key industry players from the U.S., Canada and more
than 50 other countries.
