Polk's Cross Sell will be made available on a monthly basis and reports
can be delivered securely to dealers via the Internet. The reports are built
from multiple sources, including state registrations and titles, using data
from all 50 states. Cross Sell reports allow dealerships to see which models
are selling best in which areas so they can be sure to carry the appropriate
inventory level and model mix. Polk's Cross Sell is available in four
distinct reports:
* Market Share Report: Shows a total count, by selling dealer's name,
for all vehicles sold in the defined market.
* Detailed Market Share Report: Details registrations by make, model and
selling dealer's name for all dealerships in a specified market for that
month.
* New Registrations by ZIP Code Report: Provides a count for each model,
by ZIP code, that was registered during the report month in the market area
requested.
* Top Five Dealers Report: Shows the top five dealers in a specific
market, based on their total retail registrations in that market.
"Polk's Cross Sell reports provide dealers with the most accurate and
comprehensive statistical data available," said Mary McDonnell, vice president
- Strategic Markets, Polk. "This is the latest in a long line of automotive
intelligence products designed to provide value-added service to the customers
we have served for nearly a century."
