Visteon Corporation Unveils Enhanced Customer-Focused
Corporate Structure
DEARBORN, Mich., Jan. 30 Visteon Corp.announced today the general outline
of its new, customer-facing structure.
The company disclosed last December that it would create the new structure to
better serve its customers and to streamline the newly public, global systems
integrator.
quot;Visteon's structure worked well when it was emerging from a single-
customer focus," said Visteon President and Chief Operating Officer Michael
Johnston. "Our new structure will be more efficient and respond more quickly
to all our customers' needs."
In the new organization, Visteon is divided into two business regions.
Regional presidents will head the company's Europe/South America and North
America/Asia-Pacific operations. Customer teams are being formed in each
region and will be located in close proximity to improve service and speed up
decision-making. Manufacturing, product development and materials management
and staff functions will be centralized in order to leverage synergies, share
best practices and reduce cost. More details will be released as they become
