Dario Franchitti will start from the pole after bettering his pacesetting time from Friday by clocking in today at 1:00.405 (106.144 mph). The race will be aired live on ABC-TV. TONY KANAAN We developed an understeer problem that weve been fighting all day today. Its so frustrating because we got off to such a good start on Friday and had hoped to go even faster today. But we developed the problem this morning and have been working very hard try to find the cure. Unfortunately, we lost five spots on the grid. That can make things very difficult during the race on a street track like this one. But as weve seen quite a few times this year, guys like Paul Tracy have proven that you can win from pretty far back on the grid. We just have to go back to the drawing board and try to solve our problem by tomorrow, and then stay out of trouble in the race. I think I have a pretty decent race car.
