Tracks: Christmas in July at Fonda; Kick's Off U.S. Marine's Toys for Tots Drive

Fonda, NY- Christmas is coming early to Fonda Speedway.

Saturday, July 8th Fonda Speedway and the Fonda Futures in conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corps and the Marine Corps League will host "Christmas in July".

At this special "Christmas in July" celebration the United States Marine Corps will kick off their annual Toys for Tots drive with a toy collection at the "Track of Champions."

Each child age 6-12 years that brings an unwrapped toy for the drive will receive a free ticket to Fonda Speedway. Children 5 and under are always free at Fonda. All children will receive Marine Corps paraphernalia. The Toys for Tots collection barrels will be located at the Fonda Future's sign in area.

The racing on July 8th is sponsored by Freihofers and will consist of a regular show plus the ladies powder puff event. This powder puff event will be the first of the season, due to the June event being rained out.
