Tracks: Great racing action at the Valley in the month of June

WEST LEBANON, NY--Lebanon Valley is already getting set for their third month
of racing action. The month of June is jam packed with racing action. Four
Saturday nights of nerf bar to nerf bar action highlight the schedule. The
month will end with the first ever DENT championship at the track.
June 3rd starts of the month of fun as KEY BANK, TEAM GOEWEY AND SNAP-ON
TOOLS bring us all the action. It is also UNCLE SAM night at the track so
wear your red, white and blue. The mighty modifieds will be on hand with a
30-lap feature go. The ultra-competitive sportsman class will be running a
20-lap feature. The door handle to door handle racing of the street stocks
always brings the fans to their feet. They will run a 20-lap feature go
round. As if that wasn't enough to fill your racing needs we also have IMCA
modifieds, pure stocks and the rookie division in action. There will also be
a four-cylinder demolition derby to cap off this busy night of racing.
The following Saturday night a new and old sponsor helps bring us the
racing action. PRO CIRCUIT AUTOSPORTS & RESTORATION joins the Lebanon Valley
family of sponsors for the 2000 season. They will be sponsoring the night
along with longtime Valley sponsor, WOHRLES MEAT MARKET. A full regular
Saturday night lineup of modifieds, sportsman, IMCA mods, street stocks, pure
stocks and rookies will be competing. Also on tap will be the second leg of
the 358-modified series at the Valley. If you have ever seen the RACE OF
KINGS then you now how exciting the 358-modifieds are at the Valley.
Another long time Valley sponsor, FANE CONCRETE, brings us the racing
action on Saturday night, June 17th. A full regular card will be on tap along
with a ladies cannonball run. It is also kiddie ride night at the Valley.
This is truly a highlight for the youngsters as they get to ride around the
high banks of the Valley with some of their favorite drivers. The kiddie
rides will begin at 6:00 so don't be late and miss out on all the fun.
June 24th fans will be treated to the first of two fireworks show at
Lebanon Valley this year. TREMONT LUMBER and ZAPPALA BLOCK will be the proud
sponsors of this night of competition. Three fingers Mordeca Brown has been
thrilling fans at the Valley forever with his aerial light show and this year
will be no exception. Bring the whole family out for this truly memorably
experience.
The last event on the Valley card for the month of June is a first for
the Lebanon Valley Speedway. Sunday, June 25th. Lebanon Valley will host the
DENT EASTERN UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP DEMOLITION DERBY. This will be a true
spectacle of smash-em up competition. Cars will be coming from all over the
eastern seaboard to participate in this grand event. The winner of this night
of mayhem will walk away with FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS! This night of craziness
will kick-off at 6:00 p.m.
