UPDATE: Turkey Night at Irwindale now becomes the final USAC Midget event of the 1900's

PHOENIX RACE CANCELLED BY RACE ORGANIZERS

	The United States Auto Club has been notified this morning by overnight
letter of the cancellation by the race organizers of the scheduled November
27 USAC MCI WorldCom National/Western Midget Car race at the Manzanita
Speedway in Phoenix, Ariz.

	The 1999 USAC racing season will now conclude with events at Bakersfield,
Calif. November 20 and Irwindale, Calif. November 25.
