International Speedway Corporation Announces Marketing Partners for Kansas City Speedway

    DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--Nov. 5, 1999--International Speedway Corporation ("ISC") , announced today that the Kansas Speedway Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of ISC, has reached agreements with five marketing partners for the company’s developing motorsports facility in Kansas City, Kansas.
    Exclusive product and service agreements were reached with The Ford Motor Company , PepsiCo Inc. , Coors Brewing Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adolph Coors Company , Price Chopper Supermarkets, and The University of Kansas Medical Center.
    Greg Sullivan, Vice President of Marketing for International Speedway, commented, "The companies selected as sponsors of the Kansas City facility have strong, recognizable brands and provide exceptional services in the region. The significant sports marketing expertise and consumer and commercial relationships these organizations offer should enhance the fan experience at events held at the facility and should also add incrementally to race attendance. We look forward to long, successful relationships with these companies and will seek additional sponsors to support this strong lineup."
    Construction of the Kansas City speedway continues on schedule and ISC expects to begin racing at the facility in the 2001 season.
