Horsepower Happy Hour Stampedes To Grand Prairie

Grand Prairie, TX ---- The Texas Motorplex will give new meaning to the term
exciting horsepower with the inaugural Horsepower Happy Hour on Wednesday,
October 20, from 7 p.m. -10 p.m. at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, Texas.
The free event will feature the entire stable of Castrol GTX Funny Cars
driven by 8 time Winston Champion John Force, Tony Pedregon, and Rob
Slavinski as well as 330 mph Top Fuel driver Tony Schumacher and many other
top NHRA Winston Drag Racing Series competitors.

" We wanted to give our fans a little something different prior to the NHRA
O'Reilly Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec. Lone Star Park knows a
lot about horsepower and so do we, so it was a natural fit.  Having John
Force and Tony Pedregon as well as all their Funny Cars will be a real treat
for motorsports fans. We will be giving away some tickets to the races and
all the drivers will be signing autographs," said Ryan Haas, Texas Motorplex
general manager.

The Inaugural Horsepower Happy Hour will be from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. at Lone
Star Park. Spectators can use gate 1. Admission is free to the public.  For
