Brack Takes Flag When Gordon Sputters

With one lap to go, Robby Gordon's chance to go from chump to champ came to
an end when he ran out of gas.
Gordon, competing at yesterday's CART Motorola 300 race, came into
Indianapolis with an ankle injury, sustained from hitting the wall in lap
11 at Gateway Internetaional Raceway. Today's race was marred with
accidents and unlikely mishaps, which included Ari Luyendyk getting forced
out of the race early on.
Jeff Ward finished second and Billy Boat took third. Terry Callahan's
