ENNIS, Texas - Persistent rain showers forced NHRA
officials to cancel
Friday's pro qualifying for the 15th annual O'Reilly Fall Nationals
presented by Castrol Syntec at the Texas Motorplex. The $1.9 million race is the 21st of 23 events in the $45 million NHRA Winston Drag Racing Series.
Competitors in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Truck will receive two qualifying runs on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to set 16-car fields in those categories for Sunday's 11 a.m. eliminations.
