NHRA: Amato a VIP at Streisand Finale

Five-time Top Fuel champion Joe Amato and wife Donna were in the
audience Sept. 27 at New York's Madison Square Garden for what Barbra
Streisand said was her final public concert tour. Afterwards, the Amatos
were VIP guests backstage, where they met Streisand and her husband, actor
James Brolin. Other celebs backstage included Sarah Jessica Parker, Regis
Philbin, and Chevy Chase."It was awesome," said Amato, who has two wins this season in the DynoMax/Valvoline/Keystone Automotive dragster. "You could tell it was a performance from the heart. She told stories from back when she was 18 and then all through the years and they showed scenes from her movies. It was great."
