The Auto Channel to Provide Full Coverage of the First Model Year 2001 Major Market U.S. Auto Show
AUTO CENTRAL; SEPTEMBER 28, 2000-- Amid sun-kissed skin, breezy tropical nights, and miles of sandy beaches, The Auto Channel will be making its second annual trek to the tropics, to broadcast the introduction of the hottest bodies in Miami Beach. On October 6, 2000, The Auto Channel will provide complete and comprehensive video coverage of the latest vehicles being unveiled at North America's first International Auto Show of the season.
The 30th Annual South Florida International Auto Show at the Miami Beach Convention Center is kicking off its 10 day showing of over 1000 vehicles by more than 100 exhibitors with six manufacturer announcements.
Saturn Corporation will be unveiling their first SUV and Ford Motor Company is presenting their 2002 Explorer. Kia Motors of America will divulge its "biggest Kia ever!"-- The Optima mid-sized sedan. Hyundai Motor America will reveal two vehicles: Their 2001 Elantra and all-new full-size XG300 sedan. Volvo Cars of North America will be announcing the arrival of their all-new sporty S60 sedan to the US public, while Chrysler will discuss the 2001 Sebring convertible and latest collection of concept vehicles.
The coverage will include not only major vehicle manufacturer information, but also a sampling of the specialty exhibits that are unique to the South Florida International Auto Show. Local favorites, such as Million Dollar Alley, Memory Lane, Auto Show Mall will showcase high-end marks as Rolls Royce, Ferrari, and Bentley, privately owned classics that have been preserved throughout the decades, and a variety of products for people who pamper their automobiles.
