NHRA: Troy Coughlin marches up to the No. 1 spot and Jeg is No. 3

During the first qualifying session Troy ran a 6.978 at 197.94 mph. He landed in the No. 14 spot and has three sessions to improve his qualifying time.

"We know have a place to start from," stated Troy. "The data that got from our first run will help us the rest of the weekend."

Jeg ran 6.937 at 199.46 mph. He ended up in the No. 4 spot and has three sessions remaining to improve.

"We have a strong baseline to tune from," commented Jeg. "We will use the data from both of the JEG'S machines to improve the performance of our team."

Troy came into the second session wanting to improve his qualifying position. Troy ran a 6.871 at 199.05 mph and marched up to the No. 1 spot.

"That was a great run," commented Troy. "We are looking strong going into the Holley Dominator Duel. I think that tomorrow is going to be strong."

Jeg moved up to the No. 3 spot during the second qualifying session. He ran a 6.883 at 199.11 mph.

"That was a solid run," said Jeg. "We still have room for improvement and I am really looking forward to racing in the Holley Dominator Duel. Our program is filled with energy and we need to translate the energy to wins!"
