USAC: Dodge City Sprint Race now June 14

The USAC Western Sprint Car race originally scheduled for June 15
at the
brand-new Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas, has been
rescheduled for Wednesday night, June 14.
The "Flag Day" event includes a 40-lap feature on the 3/8-mile paved oval, following complete preliminaries. The race will be the first for USAC at the new facility and will be the third in a three-race "swing" for the series which is currently led by Indy Racing Northern Light Series veteran Davey Hamilton of Las Vegas, Nev.
Hamilton scored his fourth victory of the 2000 campaign in Saturday night's 40-lap feature at the Madera (Calif.) Speedway.
The USAC Western Sprint Car Series visits Tucson (Ariz.) Raceway Park on Saturday night, June 10 and Sandia Motorsports Park in Albuquerque, N.M. on Monday night, June 12.
