The Pro Stock Truck program spent their time between races working to
improve
the engines. The time proved to be well spent.
The rain took over the Virginia Motorsports Park and put an end to the second qualifying session with drivers waiting to make their second run of the weekend. John Coughlin ended up in the No. 6 spot and ran a 7.536 at 179.16 Mph. Mike was one of the few drivers that was able to make two runs today. He landed in the No. 14 position with a 7.568 at 178.59 Mph.
"The guys really worked hard on the engines before coming to this race and it shows," said John.
"We know what we have to do to get my JEG'S Chevy S-10 back into the top half of the field," noted Mike. "I am really looking forward to tomorrow."
