MINNEAPOLIS -- The Pro Motorsports/Team Nasty
Racing/Rat Fink Funny
Car will be making its first appearance at the inaugural SummitRacing.com
NHRA Nationals, April 6-9, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Funny Car driver
Cory Lee (www.corylee.com) will be behind the wheel for the 2000 season
after driving the Tom Hoover-owned Funny Car last season.
Pro Motorsports (www.promotorsports.com) is a Minnesota based retail and wholesale distribution company with nine retail locations in the Midwest, including a store in the largest mall in the United States, Mall of America, in Minneapolis. Pro Motorsports has expansion plans that include the opening of ten more retail locations in 2000.
Pro Motorsports has formed an exciting partnership with Team Nasty Racing Clothing line to sponsor Lee and his quest towards the NHRA Winston Funny Car championship. TNR (www.teamnastyracing.com) is a newly formed identity created by Steve Harwell, the lead singer of the rock group Smash Mouth. The TNR clothing line was created and designed for the cutting edge motorsports fan and will soon be arriving to all Pro Motorsports stores.
