Putnam, Connecticut - Whit Bazemore, driver of the Kendall Motor Oil/Matco Tools Camaro Z28 Funny Car will be a featured guest on this week's edition of NHRA Heat, which will air on ESPN2 this Thursday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. (Eastern - please check your local listings). The show will focus on Bazemore's interest in mountain biking, which started as part of his rehabilitation following an off-track incident in 1996 and has evolved into the cornerstone of his personal fitness routine. Joining Whit in this segment, which was filmed in the foothills outside Phoenix, Arizona will be long-time NHRA announcer Bob Frey, who will receive some helpful hints from the Etchells Racing pilot on this fast-growing sport.

NHRA Heat is the National Hot Rod Association's 30-minute magazine show hosted by Bill Stephens, which airs every Thursday prior to each NHRA Winston Drag Racing Series national event.
