Mike Looks To Improve From The #8 Position Tomorrow
Cloud cover invaded the sky above Pomona Raceway today, which improved the conditions for the Pro Stock Truck class.John and his #31 JEG'S Mail Order Chevy S-10 began the second day of qualifying from the #10 position. John stated, "We made a much better run than we did in the first session, but we still have more under the hood. We are getting a better handle on what the track wants with each run that we make down the track."
John moved upto the #4 spot after the second qualifying session. Coughlin's yellow and black JEG'S Mail Order Chevy S-10 will have two more chances to improve his qualifying position tomorrow.
Mike Coughlin began his second day of qualifying sitting in the #4 spot. Mike commented, "We were off a little on the setup for the second qualifying session."
Coughlin added, "After making competitive runs yesterday and today, we now focus on making small measurable changes in the setup. We basically will fine tune the setup from here." Mike slipped to the #8 spot after the second qualifying session and has his sights set on improving tomorrow.
