ARCA: The ARCA Auto Value Midget Series 2000 schedule

At present, 13 events in four states dot the schedule with probable additions likely. Perennial stops include two shows at Toledo Speedway and one at Flat Rock Speedway in Michigan. Additional stops in Michigan include four races at Springport Speedway, and one apiece at M-40 Motorsports Arena, Dixie Motor Speedway and Auto City Speedway. Other than Toledo, Sandusky Speedway will be the only other stop in Ohio before the series heads west to the Land of Lincoln with an event at Grundy County Speedway in Illinois and one in the Hoosier state at Baer Field Speedway in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Open wheel veteran and two-time ARCA Auto Value Midget Series champion Gene Lee Gibson is expected to return to defend his title. Gibson, who comes from a family of open-wheel warriors, has been nearly unstoppable on the tour taking the '98 and '99 titles with relative ease.
