USAC's 2000 Television Package Contains 18 Races

Eighteen United States Auto Club races will be televised in the year 2000, including events in four different series. Involved are 11 different race tracks and two television networks.
ESPN2 will televise 15 of the events, with TNN providing coverage of the other three. The TNN races include the February 4-6 Coors Light Silver Bullet and MCI WorldCom National Midget Car "Copper World Classic" events at Phoenix, Ariz. and the October 29 Coors Light Silver Bullet race at Memphis (Tenn.) Motorsports Park.
ESPN2 coverage gets under way with the Coors Light Silver Bullet race on April 8 at Nazareth (Pa.) Speedway and involves both taped and live presentations.
In all, eight Coors Light Silver Bullet races and 10 MCI WorldCom Midget Car and Stoops Freightliner Sprint Car races will be telecast. Ten of the ESPN2 productions will air on Sunday nights, following the prime-time RPM2Nite auto racing program.
