IHRA: Expressautoparts.Com to Sponsor 1999 IHRA Top Fuel World Champion Don Lampus in 2000

New York, NY - ExpressAutoParts.Com, Inc., a full-service automotive e-commerce site offering over five million auto parts and accessories will be the primary sponsor for 1999 IHRA Top Fuel World Champion, Don Lampus as he defends his title in 2000.

The sponsorship will include an ExpressAutoParts.com paint scheme on all Lampus Racing equipment, including a new 2000 McKinney Top Fuel Chassis, an upgraded, more spacious '98 transporter as well as newly designed team uniforms.

The ExpressAutoParts.com racing team will debut the new car and paint scheme at the Prolong Super Lubricants Winter Nationals at Darlington International Dragway, March 9-11, 2000.

1999 was a remarkable season for the sophomore Top Fuel Racing team.

"Earning the IHRA Top Fuel World Championship in our first full year of racing was almost inconceivable", said Lampus. The team has done an incredible job at not only tuning the car to be as consistent as a bracket racer, but training me how to drive it.

"We're coming out with our gloves on for the 2000 season," stated Lampus. "The competition is going to be enormous-everyone always seems to gun for the world champion. You never know what the future will bring, but I promise you we'll be ready."
