ALLSTAR Sprints: All Star Sprint Banquet Set for Nov. 19 in Indianapolis

PONCE INLET, FL - The All Star Sprints have completed
their 20th season of competition. Now it's time to honor the 1999 All Star
sprint car championship team of driver Kenny Jacobs and car owner Kenny
Jacobs Motorsports. The place is the Crown Plaza Hotel at Union Station in
downtown Indianapolis. And the date is Friday night, Nov. 19.
The banquet for 1999 will once again be held in conjunction with the annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show, held in Indianapolis at the Convention Center. Topping the list of awards is the presentation of the General Motors All Star Pace Truck, a 1999 Silverado extended cab 4x4 pickup truck with Vortec V-8 power, to owner Jacobs, courtesy of the GM Powertrain Group. Also presented will be the KSE Racing Products Rookie-of-the-Year award, Outerwears Company Crew Chief of the year and the ButlerBuilt Hot Seat pole position champion.
Point fund monies and many contingency prizes will be presented to the top point owners and drivers, plus other special awards will be presented. The point fund comes from Associate Sponsor United Expressline plus 40 other sponsors who supported the All Stars in 1999.
For the attendees, the social hour starts at 7 PM, then dinner will be served, followed by the awards presentation and entertainment and sponsor recognition. Tickets are $35 per person.
