Jeff Ward Quotes - In the first session the wind caught us out a little bit. In the second session the car felt pretty good. We can do a 211 plus, maybe a little better, for qualifying and that's about what eveybody else is doing. I don't know how he (Scott Goodyear) did a 216. When I ran behind (Kenny)Brack the car felt fine with its race setup.

The car's handling is better when you run by yourself, but it's slower too. When you're behind somebody you're quicker. But when someone takes the air off me, this car stays right where it's at, it doesn't do anything crazy. So I feel really confident with this car. The most confident I've felt with this car on this track.

Mitch Davis, Crew Chief Quotes - In the first session we just shook it down from the test and made sure we had a good race car. We did, so in the second session we started to free it up a little bit for qualifying. We picked up another mile an hour (without the draft) this afternoon. We'll pick up another mile an hour tomorrow and we'll be ready to go.
