IHRA: Neon Ground Shaker Headed to the President's Cup

Budds Creek; Pre Race; Sal Passarelli of New Milford CT., fresh from a runner up 2 weeks ago at the Pro Mod Shoot-out at Long Island Motorsports Park, heads to the Express Autoparts President's Cup Nationals vying for a qualifying position in IHRA's Top Sportsman class.

Sal's entry is a Tootees Race Cars built 70 Nova. The "Neon Ground Shaker" utilizes a Big Block with a Supercharger. "I would like to say that I am very pleased with the performance of the car, and look forward to racing at Budds Creek this weekend."

Sal is the owner/operator of Sal's Auto Repair in New Milford. "I would like to thank Northeast Carpet, who recently came onboard with sponsorship, Lee Seward Plumbing and Heating, A1 Auto Body, Atlantic Motorsports, Tootees Race Cars, and a special thanks to my crew chief, Richie Johnston, who has been with me for 15 years, and celebrates a birthday this weekend at the race,my brother Len, and Ken Hubbard.
