USAC: Speedrome weathered out; New Castle race added Sept. 11

The Indianapolis Speedrome Midget Car originally scheduled for Wednesday night, August 25, has been canceled due to weather.

A schedule addition will now see the Indianapolis Speedrome Midget Car Series concluding on Saturday night, September 11, at the Mount Lawn Speedway in New Castle, Ind. A 40-lap feature event will be held on the 4/10-mile paved oval.

Michael Lang continues to lead the Speedrome series, which resumes on Wednesday night, September 1, with a 50-lap feature at the 1/5-mile paved oval.
