USAC: Bloomstran in 'Guarded' Condition

Nazareth, PA--USAC Coors Light Silver Bullet Series driver Kevin Bloomstran of Lebanon, Ohio is in guarded condition at Lehigh Valley Hospital Burn Center following a one-car incident Saturday afternoon at Nazareth Speedway.

Bloomstran's fuel line broke on lap 25 of the race and he stopped on the backstretch of the one-mile oval. A fire ensued and he was flown by helicopter to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

At the request of the family, no more information is available at this time.
