USAC: Winchester Midget Race Rained Out

Sunday afternoon's MIC WorldCom USAC National Midget Car race at the Winchester (Ind.) Speedway was rained out. A total of 31 race cars were on hand and extensive efforts to dry the 1/2-mile paved oval went for naught when a shower hit the track just after noon.

No date was available for rescheduling of the race, the first in the midwest for the MCI WorldCom USAC National Midget Cars, which now prepare for next Saturday night's event at the Kokomo (Ind.) Speedway.
