WoO: Pennzoil World of Outlaws and Bloomington Speedway Add Race Date

17 April 1999

BLOOMINGTON, IN - Bloomington Speedway and the Pennzoil World of Outlaws have agreed on an additional race date, Wednesday, May 19. The racing program will include the rained-out "A" Main from April 14, in addition to a completely new evening of racing action.

On April 14, The Pennzoil World of Outlaws barely finished the "B" Main before rain washed out the "A" Feature. When The World of Outlaws complete all except the "A" Feature, their procedure is to reschedule the unfinished race in conjunction with the next race at that track. With the complete World of Outlaws program being held in addition to the unfinished feature race, rain checks will not be accepted on May 19. All fans coming into the next event will see two "A" feature races for the single event price..

Steve Kinser will start on the pole for the rescheduled feature event, with Jac Haudenschild outside the front row. The scheduled lineup includes Mark Kinser, Sammy Swindell, Danny Lasoski, Donny Schatz, Stevie Smith and new track record-holder Joey Saldana.

The unfinished street stock program from April 14 will be completed during Bloomington Speedway's next race, on May 7.

All gates open at 3:00 on Wednesday, May 19. General admission is $25, there is no reserved seating. Fans age 6 to 12 are $5 with an adult, and under 6 are free. Pit admission is $30. END
