Brazillian Racing News: Bernardes in Sudam F3
25 January 1999
Brazilian driver Rodrigo Bernardes, who drove last year in Sudam F-3 Class B, is the probable driver to race alongside Vitor Meira with the strong Amir Nasr Team in Sudam F-3 Class A. Bernardes spent the last 2 days testing in Brasilia, and did over 150 laps on the circuit, with results only 0.3 secs slower than Meira. Bernardes said, "I am very happy and I really think we can go for it this season. I just need to sign with my sponsor, and then we will announce our 99 plans." Nobody knows what the Sperafico twins, Rodrigo and Ricardo, will do in 1999, as their Indy-Lights plans didnt come out as expected. Marc Zimmermann -- The Auto Channel
