SPRINTS: All Stars Add Sponsors for 1999 20th Anniversary Campaign

PONCE INLET, FL - Bert Emick, President and Rick Nichols, sponsor co-ordinator, announced today a list of point fund and contingency sponsors to support the 1999 All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car series.Coming aboard as the new Crew Chief Of The Year sponsor for 1999 is the Outerwears Company, who also remains as a series contingency sponsor. Georgia Marketing and Promotions, makers of sprint car models, now assumes the C Main sponsorship, with KSE Racing Products the new Rookie of the Year sponsor.
New as a sponsor this season is Red Devil Brakes Inc. as fast time sponsor. Red Devil is a manufacturer of "Ultra Lite" brakes and components for all types of race cars and will present $100 cash to the fast qualifier if they participate in the contingency program.
Simpson has joined as contingency sponsor for the "Team Simpson Racing Lucky Seven" program. Cash is awarded each night to the team finishing seventh if they participate in the program.
Sponsors returning for another season with the All Stars include GM Performance Products as an engine parts sponsor and GM Powertrain Group as the pace truck sponsor. The 1999 pace truck will be awarded to the car owner champion at the end of the season.
United Expressline will remain as the B Main event sponsor, with United Expressline, Southwest Expressline, Southwest Glass and United Specialties as heat race sponsors. Commercial Truck and Trailer will remain as the Dash and year-end Shootout sponsor, while ButlerBuilt Motorsports Equipment is still on as the "ButlerBuilt Hot Seat" pole position sponsor.
Tire company support comes from Competition Tire West, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Dayton Enterprises/McCreary, Race Tires America and Hoosier Racing Tires.
All Pro Heads, Bailey Racing Products, Brodix Cylinder Heads, C&R Racing, Donovan Engineering, Eagle Chassis, Fisher Performance, Frankland Racing Products, Fuel Safe, Gaerte Engines, Hanks Performance Products, J&J Auto Racing, Kears Speed Shop, Lunati Cams, MPD Racing, NBC Steering, PRO-shocks, Rodeck Aluminum Blocks, Royal Publishing, Sander Engineering and Schoenfeld Headers comprise the balance of the 1999 point fund and contingency sponsor list.
