END WELL 2025 SUMMIT BRINGS "RADICAL BRAVERY" TO LOS ANGELES, FEATURING EMMA HEMING WILLIS AND YVETTE NICOLE BROWN AMONG LEADING VOICES IN END-OF-LIFE TRANSFORMATION

Radical Bravery at the End of Life: End Well 2025 Brings Together Visionaries, Caregivers, and Changemakers to Imagine New Ways of Living with Meaning Until the Very End

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 16, 2025 -- On November 20, 2025, at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles and virtually, End Well 2025 will unite artists, healthcare providers, policy leaders, storytellers, and caregivers for a full day of transformative conversations and hands-on learning under the theme: Radical Bravery — the courage to show up for one another, even when it's uncomfortable, uncertain, or heartbreaking.

Hosted by Tembi Locke (actor, author, and activist) and JJ Duncan (producer, showrunner, and advocate), the summit blends mainstage dialogues, immersive workshops, and meaningful networking, giving attendees tangible tools to turn insight into action.

This year's keynote presentation brings a particular focus to dementia and those who care for people with various forms of cognitive decline, with a conversation between Emma Heming Willis and Yvette Nicole Brown about love, resilience, and caregiving in the face of dementia.

"When my husband Bruce was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, I had to find courage I didn't know existed," said Heming Willis. "Radical bravery isn't about being fearless, it's about speaking out, even when you know you'll be criticized, so that others feel validated and supported. These conversations are important and can't wait. Every family deserves the tools and compassion to navigate dementia with dignity and love."

Founded in 2017 by practicing physician and science journalist, Dr. Shoshana Ungerleider, End Well exists to change the fact that — according to a 2019 studymore than half of families feel their loved one experienced a "bad death" which heightened their grief. By bringing together voices from medicine, design, technology, policy, and popular culture, End Well aims to create a cultural shift: where ending well becomes the ultimate measure of living well.

"Radical bravery is about meeting the hardest moments of life with courage, compassion, and connection. That's what End Well 2025 is all about," said Dr. Ungerleider.
