30th Annual Spring Motorcycle Show Hosts Renowned Exhibits and New Features Covering Full Range of Motorcycling To Suit Every Rider's Style

Toronto Ontario (3 April 2019); The 30th edition of the Toronto Spring Motorcycle Show presented by RidersPlus Insurance, 6 - 7 April at Toronto's International Centre is geared up and ready for the riding season’s most attended gathering of enthusiasts.

The Toronto Spring Motorcycle Show is Ontario's foremost happening for those who love motorcycles. The Show features key interests for those passionate about the sport. Attendees have the opportunity to engage with leading powersports individuals, speak with custom bike builders and enjoy exciting new show attractions.

Attractions include: Used Bike Market. In collaboration with autoTRADER we're offering motorcycle owners the chance to sell their own motorcycle for just $20. per bike. The program includes a weekend pass, a FOR SALE sign, a FREE listing on autoTRADER and FREE parking for the seller’s truck or trailer.

Special Guest Jason McCoy. Meet and greet with Jason McCoy front-man and founding member of the highest-selling Canadian country band in history, The Road Hammers. McCoy, a motorcyclist, has teamed up with the “TELUS Motorcycle Ride For Dad�?? as the 2019 National Ambassador in the fight against prostate cancer. He has become a popular host on both television and radio programs, currently residing as an on-air host of KICX 106.

Jason will be at the show Saturday April 6 from 2-4pm at the TELUS Ride for Dad booth, located in Hall 1 West.

Special Guest Dan Kruger International Road Racer. Canadian Dan Kruger keeps Canada in the arena with his long list of racing achievements and global experiences. He has raced the Isle of Man TT, the Suzuka 8 Hour World Endurance Race, the Macau Grand Prix, and is a regular Podium Finisher in the China Superbike Championship. He has raced with direct factory support throughout Europe and Asia for many years. His former teammates include legendary Michael Dunlop, Michael Rutter, Danny Webb, as well as the late great Simon Andrews. Cash for Classics Display Competition. A new special feature producing the largest known indoor exhibit of vintage and classic motorcycles anywhere. Clubs such as the CVMG, the Vincent Owners Club, Ton Up Toronto and more will display their collections. Motorcycle Clubs will be awarded up to $2000, for the grand prize including the “Bar Hodgson Classic Cup�?? trophy.

Three cash prizes will be awarded for three categories of motorcycles over 30 years old. Entrants are encouraged to create a theme display for extra points. Barn Find Exhibit. Every rider dreams of discovering a “barn find�?? motorcycle. Anyone owning one of these long lost motorcycles is invited to bring it to the show and display it for free. The bike will be judged with winners in 1st, 2nd & 3rd place along with cash prizes. Biker Poetry Contest. Motorcyclists are invited to put their poetic musings to paper and enter original works of poetry in the 1st annual Toronto International Biker Poetry Contest.

Finalists will be reading their selected poems on stage at the show on April 6th. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges and winning poems will be posted on the Spring Show website along with the authors’ photos. Classics on the Red Carpet. Presenting a special collection representing 100 years of iconic motorcycles. For example, a 1942 Harley-Davidson XA Prototype and rare Henderson, Indian, and Zenith Sidecars from the 1920s will be displayed along with many rarely-seen gems from private collections. Women in Motorcycling.

Presenting the 7th edition of our “Women in Motorcycling�?? feature in Hall #1 showcasing various and inspiring women riders, such as motivational speaker, Angie Sandow. Meet women’s riding clubs and enjoy the ‘Keeping It Real’ Fashion Show by Terez Leather featuring women’s gear and products modelled by women who ride. Awards. Along with the highly regarded “Motorcyclist of the Year Award�?? honouring some of the most outstanding contributors to the motorcycling community, we also pay tribute to outstanding Canadian motorcyclists as suggested by editors of Canadian motorcycle publications for our “Eddy Award�??.
