Well, it's Friday, the favorite day of the week for the oil industry to direct someone to write a hit piece about ethanol. They like Fridays, I guess because they think it gives them a few days for their lies to lay around and pick up viral distribution without any backlash from those of us who know the truth.

Today, April 20th, a new piece (a piece of garbage) was published on TheNewAmerican.com website, written by some guy named Michael Tennant*. The piece (the piece of garbage) is titled "Federal Biofuel Mandates Are an Expensive Flop," and it features Philip Rossetti from an organization called American Action Forum (AAF). American Action Forum? Smells like another fishy API sponsored group from NAMBLA**.

The piece written by Mr. Tennant - you know, the piece of garbage - starts off with this paragraph:

"Federal biofuel mandates have failed to accomplish their stated objectives while forcing consumers to pay higher prices for food and fuel, a new American Action Forum (AAF) report concludes."

NEW? A new report? The "higher prices for food and fuel" drivel is at least a decade old, and have been roundly and soundly refuted, including recantations by The World Bank, the group that started the lies about food price increases happening because of ethanol production. (I cover all this, and so much more, in my 60+ page rebuttal to Robert Bryce's garbage book GUSHER OF LIES. (https://www.theautochannel.com/news/2013/06/10/082044-gusher-lies-book-review-and-reply-to-robert-bryce.html)

Then Mr. Rossetti puts together cockamamie numbers that supposedly show that there are some ancillary issues that make ethanol look bad. But it's all BS. He says there has been a wealth transfer from consumers to farmers. Hey schmuck, you should be happy that American farmers have a profitable crop to grow. And guess what? American farmers are AMERICANS. This is far better than the wealth transfer from consumers to dictators and terrorist regimes on the other side of the world.

In any event, ethanol cost less than gasoline or diesel. Ethanol-gasoline blends save consumers money.

And to the people who publish TheNewAmerican website: There is nothing patriotic about pushing deadly petroleum oil fuels, especially the fuels made from crude oil imported from other countries. You are traitors, not patriots.

* I write "some guy named Michael Tennant" because I wanted to send him a copy of my comments. But I can't find any information or an email for him. As if he doesn't exist.

** Where else could these creeps come from? If you have a better idea, let me know.
