Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada ranked one of the Top 20 Best Workplaces in Canada for Millennials by the Great Place to Work® Institute
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Sept. 5, 2017 -- Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada announced today that it has again been honoured by the Great Place to Work Institute, this time with placement on the 2017 list of the twenty Best Workplaces in Canada for Millennials.

"According to a 2014 study by Brookings, Millennials will make up close to 75 percent of the workforce in approximately 10 years. In 2016, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada was, for the fourth time since 2012, ranked in the top-ten in the "Large & Multinational Companies" category on the list of the 100 "Best Workplaces in Canada" by the Great Place to Work Institute. Last year, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada, Daimler Financial Services, was ranked fifth out of 25 companies on the list of the World's Best Multinational Workplaces.

The list of the Twenty Best Workplaces for Millennials is based on direct feedback from employees of the hundreds of organizations that were surveyed by Great Place to Work® Institute Canada. The data has a 90% confidence and a plus or minus 5% margin of error.
Analysis of the data to compile this list focused on the following:
- For eligibility, companies certified in the past year, at least 30% of their employees must fit the Millennial demographic (born after 1980), they must have minimum 90% positive response to the statement "I am treated fairly regardless of my age" and the organization must meet a minimum consistency index among the different age demographics.
- Great Place to Work® Institute determined the BEST based the overall Trust Index score from Millennials working in the organization.
