The Chevrolet Performance LSX Challenge Series is on the
property!
The LSX Challenge Series is back for 2013 to be contested at four events
this season, ending up right here in Indiana with five awesome racing
classes. The LSX Challenge Series is the premier racing series for
street-based vehicles powered by Chevrolet’s LS and LSX engine
family. All of the racers that are in points competition will be laying it
on the line at this event, as it’s the last chance to solidify their
place in the standings or clinch that class championship they will spend
all year working towards. Also, the event will mark the final chance for
all of the racers in the Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout to make their
mark upon the LSX community for the 2013 season. With five awesome race
classes filled with the baddest LSX cars in the land, the LSX Shootout has
grown leaps and bounds since its inception. The LSX Real Street class, LSX
Rumble class, and 5th Gen Camaro Challenge class also finish out their 2013
action in Indy.

Lucas Oil Raceway has one of the best racing surfaces in the country
– there’s a reason that the NHRA holds the “Big GO”
here every year over Labor Day Weekend. You can have the opportunity to
show off your skills in the driver’s seat on the IRP track in one of
the NMCA’s various classes designed to satisfy the entry-level racer.
The TREMEC True Street class has always been a racer favorite, with awards
given out to the racers closest to each second increment, along with the
overall quickest car and the runner-up, after their 30-mile cruise and
three dragstrip passes are complete.
In addition, entry-level racers fit into the Open Comp, Nostalgia Muscle Car, and Late Model EFI classes, so take a look at the class rules and make your plans to come out and race with the best Muscle Car racers in the country. (points classes only) NMCA and NHRA Unleashed have come together to
present the best in street car drag racing and it's brought to you courtesy
