Silverstone, Nov. 9, 2012: Prestigious Italian helmet manufacturers, Stilo have announced that they will have the European launch of their ST4 CMR Karting helmet at the KartMania Show, held at The Wing, Silverstone Circuit on 17 and 18 November. As the sole distributor for Stilo in Britain, Nicky Grist Motorsports is organising the launch, with Nicky Grist hosting the proceedings.

The ST4 CMR Karting is based on Stilo's lightest and strongest helmet, the ST4 FN Zero, worn by the likes of 2012 GP2 champion Davide Valsecchi, WTCC contender Rob Huff, BTCC contender Jason Plato and 2011 ALMS winner, Guy Smith. The new CMR standard helmet has been designed for youngsters under the age of 15, with exactly the same look as Stilo's F1 level helmet, and is the lightest and strongest helmet in its class, offering considerable safety benefits over other CMR helmet manufacturers.

With its Kevlar carbon construction and the radical matte black finish, you would think that the ST4 CMR would be the most expensive helmet for young karters - but no, it is the cheapest CMR helmet in its class, as Stilo are keen to ensure that parents can give their youngsters the very best helmet! Available in four sizes, from XS upwards, it comes with the same full range of visor and spoiler options as the rest of the family of Stilo ST4 helmets.

The 2012 FKS Mini Max champion, Connor Mills, will be presented with one of the first-ever ST4 CMR Karting helmets by Nicky Grist at the KartMania Show, as part of the Stilo Golden Helmet Award for Karting Excellence. Connor won this year's award for his achievements and progression in the Mini Max championship.

"I am keen to make sure that talented young karters have an opportunity to be supported in their motorsport progression by someone who has experienced the top of the sport, as well as understanding the importance of wearing the safest kit possible during their competitive career," commented Nicky.

So parents, you can now give your young competitor the safest, lightest and meanest looking helmet and not have to worry about the cost.

Come and see the European launch at the KartMania Show, on the Nicky Grist Motorsports stand on 17/18 November - and invest in your child's future.

Stilo has a complete range of ST4 helmets for karting available through Nicky Grist Motorsport, which will be available at the show.
