President Obama is so lost he reaches ever deeper into fantasy to find a way out

The other day, in an effort to position himself and his Administration as job makers, President Barack Obama proved beyond any shadow of a doubt just how inept he is at understanding business, the economy, and human aspiration.

In saying ““If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen,” Obama was saying that “Government creates jobs…” And in making that pronouncement he attempts to lay claim to helping to create jobs while he is in fact destroying our nation’s will to fight out of the financial depression we have been in for more than a decade.

We have the government we do because individuals who desired greater freedom came together to form that government; our government didn’t just materialize out of thin air. Our government is supported by the revenue it receives from those people (and their businesses), not the other way around as Obama would like to make it sound. The correct comment is “If we have a government that is the best that humans have ever known, the government didn’t create that, the people with their entrepreneurial spirit, determination and hard earned money made it happen.”

Our government, as fantastic as it may be, didn’t invent anything. It didn’t design anything, it didn’t innovate anything. It’s merely acted as a regulator in the process of creating and implementing. In many cases the regulation is too much, and in many instances the regulation is insufficient. However the government is simply a regulator… and they tax us for doing so. Without the businesses the government would cease to exist. The currency that they print and mint would be worthless.

But the Communist-in-Chief doesn’t understand this. He acts like Allah appointed him king, and that like a monarch he simply has to rule that his serfs supply his court with flour and meat and vegetables and jewels (taxes) that he can fritter away to buy votes to keep him and his fellow travelers in power.

Businesses exist because the human spirit drives (most) people to achievement, to better their lives, for a feeling a worth. Businesses spring up and succeed in spite of devious government intervention and under the harshest, most restrictive controls. Obama is poison to our system. He and his family only deserve a long healthy life in obscurity, with future generations mocking his Nobel Peace Prize and other non achievements, as we return to, and thrive, in everlasting economic wellbeing.
