Special Motorsports Event - Heat Wave Arrives To Support Thunder Jam

Millington, May 10, 2012: Sam Ives, aka: HEAT WAVE blasts into Memphis for Thunder Jam at Memphis International Raceway. Ives, a Reserve Deputy with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma is the national spokesperson for Tulsa Co. Sherriff’s Office where he continues to work with youth building a positive rapport between the public and law enforcement officials. The main focus of the HEAT WAVE team is education and entertainment. In a fun and non-threatening environment, the HEAT WAVE team educates young people about the importance of education and the dangers of illegal drugs, alcohol and street racing. The HEAT WAVE will be making a public appearance at Wal-Mart Supercenter in Millington on Thursday, May 10 from 4:00 – 6:30 PM and at Glen Eagle Golf Course in Millington at the Concert on the Green on Friday, May 11 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Come out and say hello. The HEAT WAVE will also be making a couple special appearances at Atoka Elementary and E. A. Harrold Elementary Schools.

The HEAT WAVE is part of the Thunder Jam excitement that takes place at Memphis International Raceway on Saturday, May 12. HEAT WAVE will be joined by SPIRIT OF ALABAMA, the CHEVY REBELLION wheelstanders and, of course, TMNT and GRAVE DIGGER. Thunder Jam is an action packed family friendly show unlike any other.
