KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 Traxxas Tundra, Kyle Busch Motorsports Starting Position: 4th How was your Tundra after practice and qualifying? "The truck was really good. I think we have a really fast Traxxas Tundra for this weekend. The guys have done a nice job. It's a brand new truck, so we're excited about getting ourselves going and get some plans headed in the right direction for next year on 1.5-mile race tracks. Hopefully this is a good weekend for us."

How was your charity fishing tournament on Wednesday in Lewisville, Texas? "The fishing tournament was good. Besides not catching anything for me, some other guys they caught an awful lot and did a good job. But, I was skunked, so that's alright. Hopefully my bad luck is all out of the way for the weekend and we can have a good, solid weekend here in Texas."

What does it mean to have a local Texas company like Traxxas sponsoring your race team? "Being right here near Plano, Texas, it's cool to have Traxxas onboard and I'm excited about giving them a good show in their hometown. Hopefully a bunch of them come out -- I know many of them will be here and some others are in Las Vegas for the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Associating) show. Traxxas has been a great supporter of mine over the past couple seasons and on again into next year, too. They're going to be doing some more races there. I'd love to get them a win here in their home state and of course carry the banner for six out of seven races they've been on the truck and we've won. "

TIMOTHY PETERS, No. 17 NTB / Service Central, Red Horse Racing Starting Position: 15th How was your truck in qualifying? "It was kind of surprising really. I think our Service Central National Tire Batteries was pretty good. We didn't have the speed that we wanted earlier today, but we suffered some of that for drivability. As long as we get our Tundra up front tomorrow night, we're going to be good."

DAVID STARR, No. 81 Zachry / NCCER / ASI Limited Tundra, SS Green Light Racing Starting Position: 16th How was your qualifying lap? "It was awesome, you know. I'm kind of like Fred Flintstone on this thing. I believe everybody is wide open, but our Zachry Toyota Tundra was pretty awesome tonight. We just try not to turn the wheel any more than we had to, you know. It's just so competitive -- you just try to get all you can get. It's just so tight, the times are. But hey, you can't ask for a better race truck. That was just all it had. It was fun. We're just focused on the race tomorrow night and that's when it counts. Pretty excited with that lap. I thought we'd run a little bit slower than that, so that was pretty cool, but we'll see. Maybe we can put one of these Toyota Tundras in victory lane and hopefully it will be mine."

Is it exciting to run in your home state? "Yeah. This is home. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and I live here in the Dallas-Fort Worth (Texas) area now. But, no matter from Martinsville, Virginia or Atlanta Motor Speedway that passion and that burning desire to win is always there. It's just kind of cool to be here with your family and friends and people that helped you get to where you are at today. Pretty cool to see them here at the race track and having fun, but business as usual for us. We're just trying to get our Zachry Toyota Tundra to victory lane and we had a pretty good truck in race practice today. It wasn't the best truck, but we made some adjustments after the final practice and hopefully they were the right adjustments, but we'll see tomorrow night."

MIGUEL PALUDO, No. 7 Duroline Tundra, Red Horse Racing Starting Position: 17th How was your qualifying lap? "It was good. We did a 'Q' run in practice and that was exactly the same feeling. It was neutral and way open. Race trim -- we had a really good run in race trim. We did long runs during practice, so let's see. Should be good for tomorrow."

Do you enjoy racing at night? "I like it. It's colder and it's going to have a lot of grip. It's fun for the fans as well. The driving is better. I just want to expect that the truck doesn't change too much, you know what I mean? From tight to super loose or something like that."

TODD BODINE, No. 5 Big Red Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports Starting Position: 19th How was your truck during qualifying? "It's good. We got a truck that is good in race trim and that's what you have to have. We knew we weren't going to qualify well. It's a long race and we've done it from the back here before."

JOHANNA LONG, No. 20 Panhandle Grading & Paving Tundra, Panhandle Motorsports Starting Position: 20th How was your qualifying lap? "It was really good. The package on this Helicopter Grip Toyota was really good tonight. Hopefully we can run as good as we did last time here and get across the start and finish line without a wreck this time. I think we'll be pretty good, so I'm really excited."

What are you expectations for tomorrow's race? "Run just as good as we did last time. We were solid all day last time we were here, so hopefully we can have another top- 10 finish."

BRENDAN GAUGHAN, No. 62 International Trucks / Monaco RVs, Germain Racing Starting Position: 21st How was your truck in qualifying? "Right now, all the Toyota crew is a little bit at a disadvantage on the single truck runs. I'm not really concerned about it. We're going to end up probably 20th. But the great news is when it came to race trim in our Tundra, I got up behind the 8 truck (Nelson Piquet Jr.) and the 13 (Johnny Sauter) who at the time were first and second on the board. Once they got in front of me, man our Tundra horsepower kicked in and the body and all the down force went away and we caught right back up to them and stayed with them. We'll be fine for the race. It's Texas, you can pass anywhere here. It's not like Martinsville last week where I came from the back."

JOHNNY CHAPMAN, No. 07 BOBBER.info / ASI Limited Tundra, SS Green Light Racing Starting Position: 22nd

MAX PAPIS, No. 9 GEICO Tundra, Germain Racing Starting Position: 24th How was your qualifying lap? "It was really good. I thought that it was actually better than what I expected it. Unfortunately, in qualifying trim we are not really, really quick, but I think we are going to run really good in the race. I am very excited."
