Noblesville, July 27, 2011: MAZDASPEED driver Conor Daly continues to impress in his maiden season of GP3 Series racing action. The Indiana native will head this weekend to Hungary to take in rounds 11 and 12 of the open wheel series. Daly is knocking on the door of a podium finish after strong performances in the last three events that included Valencia, Spain, Silverstone, England and most recently Nürburgring, Germany. Hungary is one of the few tracks on the European schedule familiar to Daly who tested at the Hungaroring Circuit in GP3 this past April and in Formula Masters in 2010. Daly really likes the track lay out and is looking for a breakout podium performance.

"I am very much looking forward to the Hungaroring as I feel I know the circuit fairly well,” comments Daly. “I really want to have a good result as much for myself as for the Carlin Team as they have put a very big effort in all season.”

Daly will fly to Budapest, Hungary on Wednesday to start preparations for the weekend and on Sunday night will fly to Belgium to take part in a track day driving a Caterham Seven car at the famed Spa Franchorchamps Circuit in order to get familiar with the circuit prior to the GP3 race there on August 27 – 28. Following the track day at Spa, Daly will head back to North America to return to Indy Lights action as he competes in the Grand Prix of Trois Rivieres with Sam Schmidt Motorsports.
