Noblesville, IN – MAZDASPEED driver Conor Daly heads to the famed Nürburgring in Germany to contest the next two rounds of the GP3 Series. This will be a new track for Daly who has yet to run a lap at the historic facility that will play host to the Formula One series as well. On Wednesday Daly will take the opportunity to cruse the historic 14.173 mile Nordschleife (Northern Loop) as part of his first trip to the region. GP3 Series and Formula One drivers will take to the completely separate 2.83 mile, 12 turn track for free practice starting on Friday.

Daly is coming off of his best weekends following gritty performances in Valencia and Silverstone. The first year GP3 driver is gaining a reputation as a prolific passer as he has been cutting through the field from poor grid positions. Daly will look to work with the Carlin Team to get the timing of qualifying down this weekend. Now heading into the second half of the season, Daly is looking to make a move on the points standings.

“Although the results don’t really show it, my race pace at Valencia and Silverstone was very good,” states Daly. “I can’t wait to get to Germany. Although the track is new to me, it’s new for a lot of us in GP3. If it rains I will be very happy.”
