BLAUVELT, May 13, 2011: DeMan Motorsport today unveiled an exciting new partnership with American Harvest and its best driver lineup in team history for an all-out assault on the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) beginning with the Bosch Engineering 200 at Virginia International Raceway this Saturday, May 14.

Team owner/driver Rick DeMan, from Nyack, N.Y., will share the No. 73 American Harvest/DeMan Motorsport Porsche Boxster in its debut race with champion Porsche pilot David Murry, of Atlanta, at VIR alongside the veteran lineup of Dan Ferguson and Jim Hamblin in the No. 72 DeMan Motorsport Porsche Boxster. Both cars will compete in the Street Tuner (ST) class of the CTSCC, which runs its fourth round on Saturday.

“I am truly looking forward to racing the American Harvest DeMan Motorsport Boxster at VIR,” said Murry, who tested the No. 73 Porsche at VIR a few weeks ago. “It is really exciting to promote a new American product and it’s good to be part of something with such great integrity in the beginning. It will be nice one day to look back knowing we were involved in American Harvest in its early days.”

Murry and DeMan will give way to a new set of co-drivers in the No. 73 American Harvest Porsche in Round 5 at Lime Rock Park on Memorial Day weekend as 2010 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series GT co-champion Jeff Segal, of Miami, will share the ride with longtime co-driver Nick Longhi, who also hails from Nyack, N.Y. Yet another Rolex Series GT champion will join the lineup later in the season as 2009 GT titleist Leh Keen is expected to share the No. 73 Boxster with Segal.

“It seems like all the ingredients are coming together,” said Segal, who also tested with the team earlier this spring. “I’m confident that we’ll have a strong car and we also appear to have a strong driver lineup. I think we’re hoping to be a spoiler in a few of the upcoming ST races this season!"
