KANNAPOLIS, April 25, 2011: One of America’s best racecar drivers has teamed with America’s No. 1 frozen Mexican food to offer a Facebook-driven promotion that will allow the grand prize winner to get a personal tour of Stewart-Haas Racing and lunch with a two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion.

El Monterey wants to give a lucky fan the opportunity to “Tour With Tony”, where the winner and three of his or her friends will get a tour of the 140,000 square-foot headquarters of Stewart-Haas Racing followed by lunch with Tony Stewart, driver of the No. 14 Office Depot/Mobil 1 Chevrolet Impala and winner of the Sprint Cup championship in 2002 and 2005. Airfare to Charlotte, N.C., is included, along with lodging.

Specially marked El Monterey packaging is available now in the freezer aisle of grocery stores, and fans of Stewart and El Monterey can visit the El Monterey Facebook page at www.facebook/ElMonterey now through July 15. No purchase is necessary, and entrants can fill out the sweepstakes form a maximum of twice per day, where they’ll be automatically entered. A “Tour With Tony” coupon will be available May 1 in most Sunday newspapers.

There is also a second chance to win more prizes through “Tony’s Flavor Challenge”. After entering the sweepstakes, fans will have the chance to create Stewart’s next flavor for El Monterey. They can submit their flavor ideas, vote and comment on others’ ideas and earn points that can be redeemed for Stewart-Haas Racing merchandise, El Monterey gear, coupons and even raffle tickets for Flip video cameras.

“El Monterey’s slogan is ‘Let’s Eat,’ and they’re literally putting their money where their mouth is by creating this sweepstakes for our race team to host lunch and a tour for a lucky fan and their friends,” Stewart said. “It’s a pretty simple concept, but also a unique one. Not everyone gets to see behind the scenes of a race shop, and they’ll have the best tour guide they can possibly get – me. Then, we’ll sit down and have a great lunch thanks to the folks at El Monterey. We’re looking forward to it.”
