FORT WORTH, April 8, 2011: The Kurt Busch Foundation announces today that it will be raffling off a 2011 Upfitted Dodge Charger R/T. This is the second time the Foundation has conducted a car raffle. In 2009, the Foundation raffled off a specially equipped 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT-8.

“This is one fabulous Dodge,” said Kurt Busch, driver of the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Dodge Charger for Penske Racing. “I’m delighted with what Dodge and Mopar have done and how they’ve helped the Foundation. They’ve done a stand-out job on this car. Someone is going to be very happy driving this amazing Dodge around town.”

“We’re truly excited and proud to be able to help support the Kurt Busch Foundation,” said Bryan Viger, Head of Dodge Motorsports. “It’s amazing what Kurt is able to do to help support those in need, and we can’t wait to see who the lucky raffle winner is of the customized Dodge Charger R/T – it’s one impressive performance sedan.”

The red, 2011 Dodge Charger R/T features a yellow centered racing stripe. The vehicle has been modified to include a Mopar coils lowering kit, a Mopar exhaust system and Mopar black chrome wheels. Mopar Katzkins leather seats featuring Busch’s signature and number were also installed. Additional enhancements were made to the vehicle’s front fascia lower lip, rear spoiler, doors and grill.

The charity car raffle commences today, and will go through October 31, 2011. The winner will be announced on Busch’s website (www.kurtbusch.com) on November 1, 2011.

Only 5,000 raffle tickets will be sold for this one of a kind Dodge. Tickets may be purchased online at www.kurtbusch.com for $100.00 each. Photos of the vehicle and a schedule of events where the vehicle will be on display at can also be found on the website. All proceeds will go to the Foundation and will benefit The Armed Forces Foundation.
