Spanning a decade, it follows his battles on track and off, against the politics around the sport. Sublime, spiritual, occasionally ruthless, Senna becomes a global superstar whilst privately remaining humble & giving millions to native Brazilians. He contemplates life after racing but continues to live on the edge.

Told solely through the use of archival footage, Asif Kapadia’s film is a thrilling ride worthy of its daring subject. Winner of the World Cinema Audience Award for Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival.
