BROOKLYN, Feb. 7, 2011: The most recent of Michigan International Speedway’s changes has to be one of the best values in professional sports and entertainment today.
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pole qualifying for Michigan International Speedway’s Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 has been moved to Saturday, June 18 from its traditional Friday spot, track officials announced. ![]() |
“It’s a packed day of fun, an affordable day of NASCAR and an amazing way to spend a Saturday in June,” speedway President Roger Curtis said. “This should allow fans to see all the excitement from setup and practice of the car to qualifying to a race.”
Kids 12 and under are free that day. So a family of four can see two NASCAR race series on track all day, a race and a free concert after track activity for a reasonable price.
